For many years Roy and I have organised Operation Christmas Child – a charity run by Samaritan’s Purse which last year was well supported by St. Mary’s Church and friends.
This year we will provide all shoe-boxes in the form of pre-printed flat packs which will ensure that all boxes are the same size and shape and easier to transport. We will accept completed boxes at any time but the final date for returning them to Church, or to us, is Sunday, 17th November.
Just as a reminder, the age groups for the boxes are:
2 – 4 years
5 – 9 years
10 -14 years, all either for a boy or a girl.
It is essential that everyone taking part obtains an information leaflet which includes a label to Sellotape to the outside of the box.
The carriage for each box is £5 which can be paid online, or enclosed in a special envelope in the box.
All the details are included in the leaflets which will be available in Church from July, but for any query please ask me.
