Christmas Tree Festival

Our annual Church Christmas Tree Festival, which is held every year is a recent addition to our fundraising calendar. Our 2023 festival, themed around ‘Christmas Stories’ raised over £1,600 for church funds.

As well as the decorated trees, visitors were able to browse serval craft stalls hosted by local artisans, purchase Christmas draw tickets and try their luck at a Christmas tombola. Throughout the weekend were spontaneous performances from the Church Handbell group, the pinnacle of the festival had to be the Rushden Town Band concert on the Saturday evening which was well attended and proved to be a thoroughly entertaining evening.

Local Businesses, Community Groups, Individuals, Representatives from other Churches and Groups within our own Congregation all came together with their displays centred around a particular theme. Displays included How the Grinch Stole Christmas, Alien’s Love Panta Claus, The Nativity, The Snowman and many more.

Children from Finedon Schools also made nativity scenes within shoeboxes to be displayed in church throughout advent, all showed amazing creative flair!

Some images from the last festival can be seen below. Thank you to all those who took part in making the weekend such a success.

Thank you for your continuing support, we look forward to seeing you again at our next Christmas Tree Festival!
