Flower Festival

Our annual Church Flower Festival, which is held every September has been a feature of the Church landscape in Finedon for many decades. Our 2023 flower festival, themed around ‘Festivals’ raised over £2,800 for church funds.

Local Businesses, Community Groups, Individuals, Representatives from other Churches and Groups within our own Congregation all come together with their displays centred around a particular theme. Previous themes include Festivals, The Life of Queen Elizabeth II, Things to be Thankful For, Musicals and many more.

At an open meeting on Monday 22nd April the theme for our 2024 Flower Festival was unveiled!

This years theme is “A World of Art”.

Our Flower Festival will take place on Friday 13th, Saturday 14th and Sunday 15th September 2024. Keep your eyes peeled with more information to follow.

If you would like to volunteer in another way, whether that be stewarding, manning a stall or baking cakes for the tea tent, please get in touch! We look forward to welcoming everyone for what looks to be another spectacular festival.

Children’s Art Challenge

After so many children from Finedon Schools made wonderful Shoe Box Nativities for the Christmas Tree Festival, we have introduced a Flower Festival Art Challenge over the summer with the work going on display at Septembers Flower Festival. We are looking for you to create a 3D display or diorama of your favourite piece of art inside a cereal box.
These amazing creations will need to be handed into either Finedon Infants or Junior School by Wednesday 11th September to go on display at the Flower Festival from Friday 13th – Sunday 15th September.
Each entry should be labelled with your name and class. There will be a small gift for all entries. (We are only accepting submissions from students at either of the Finedon Schools)

Some images from the last festival can be seen below. Thank you to all those who took part in making the weekend such a success.
