We held our Church Fete on Saturday 29th June 12:00-4:00 in the Church and Churchyard, it turned out to be a delightful afternoon.
There were stalls from Community Groups, Local Crafters, Representatives from other Churches and Groups within our own Congregation, not to mention Refreshments, A Raffle, Tombola and so much more!
So far we have raised over £1,400, with some funds yet to be counted.
Lots of fun was had throughout the day, and it wasn’t just stalls and live music which kept people entertained, we also opened up the Monks Cell which houses the Church archive, as well as welcoming visitors to explore the Dolben Vault underneath the Church.
We are greatly appreciative of the efforts of all stall holders both on the day and in the lead up to the Fete with all the preparatory work they undertook. Special thanks also has to go to the Fundraising and Events team without whom the Church Fete simply would not have been such a success, they have worked tirelessly throughout the last few months across a number of events.
