To quote our recessional hymn, “We have a Gospel to proclaim, good news for all throughout the earth”.
What more good news is there, than on Sunday 14th April 2024, 11 candidates of varying ages from within our church community Confirmed at St Mary’s by John Holbrook, Bishop of Brixworth.
The 11 Candidates were supported by a congregation of over 100 people including those family and friends who were attending as their guests.
Following the service the Fundraising team provided refreshments including handmade cakes and biscuits.
A huge thank you must go to Father Stan and Kathryn for the guidance they have given to the candidates throughout Confirmation Classes and in the preparation of the service. Both have been invaluable members of our community during this time of interregnum.
It was a wonderful event to be a part of, and a joy to witness these individuals take the next step on their faith journey surrounded by family, friends and our wider Church community.
