Every Tuesday at 11am we meet in church for a spoken service of Holy Communion based on Common Worship Order One in Traditional Language.
Beginning in May 2025 our pattern of Sunday worship is as follows:
First Sunday of the Month:
9:30am Sung Eucharist in Church
6pm Choral Evensong* in Church
Second Sunday of the Month:
9:30am Café Church** in the Mission Room
4pm Holy Ground** Service in Church
Third/Fourth/Fifth Sunday of the Month:
9:30am Sung Eucharist in Church

What is Café Church?
For many, the thought of walking into an old church building can be a daunting prospect. So, forget the hymns, forget the sermon and the sitting in silence!
We recognise that there are many ways to approach worship, and often being part of something in the community gives us a sense of togetherness. To that end we are introducing Café Church as a way of bridging that gap, to be an informal and accessible service for all.
This informal act of worship will take place in the heart of Finedon at St Michael’s Mission Room, Well Street on the 2nd Sunday of each month from 9:30am. Join us for breakfast as we sit down as families and friends exploring monthly themes through crafts, stories, poetry, games and more.
What is Holy Ground?
As we introduce Café Church on the second Sunday of each month, we want to ensure that there is still provision for a holy communion service for those who wish to attend.
Holy Ground is a Eucharist service with a difference! We will have traditional liturgy with incense and bells all with a modern twist. There will be contemporary worship music threaded through the service, with space to prayerfully interact with the themes in our lectionary readings, and opportunity to receive healing prayer ministry. This service will last about an hour with refreshments beforehand.
