Following the departure of the Church Army in 1927 as lessees of the complex George Laxton was appointed manager by the Trustees.
Hold your thumb and thank God for your friends, neighbours and for those who you love. Think of the people by name.
1.Stay active, walk, cycle, take the bus, drive less. Recycle – does anyone collect cans, spectacles, stamps, printer cartridges, clothes, shoes or foil? Turn off unnecessary lights and do not leave items on stand-by. Embrace a meat free day. Collect rain water for plants. As one store says, Every Little helps”.
The March meeting of the society will be on Monday 23rd March 2020 at 7.30 pm in the Mission Room Well Street, Finedon.
The next Finedon Townswomen’s Guild meeting will be the AGM at 7.30 on Thursday March 5th in the Town Hall.
