Welcome to St Marys

Welcome to the church of  St Mary the Virgin.
Constructed in 1350 and located in the heart of Northamptonshire, our Parish church looks forward to welcoming you to a weekly service, life event, or one of our many events throughout the year.

We have a very active church community with various groups and committees meeting throughout the week as well as organising events throughout the year. Our 2023 flower festival, themed around ‘Festivals’ raised over £2,800 for church funds and December’s Christmas Tree Festival which saw the church filled with trees decorated with various Christmas stories raised a further £1,600. St Mary’s is a Grade 1 listed building constructed of local ironstone accommodating up to 350 people. The church is full of character with a notable strainer arch installed in the 14th or 15th century and a pipe organ which arrived in 1717 originally built for St George’s Chapel, Windsor.

At St Mary’s we take any safeguarding concerns very seriously, for more details on our Safeguarding policy and links to the Diocesan website for access to their Safeguarding information, please visit our Safeguarding Page.
